Battered women syndrome is considered as a form of post traumatic stress disorder which is recognized as a psychological condition which describes a constant domestic violence victim and for one to be categorized as battered has to undergo through two cycles and the stages of the syndrome.The Battered Woman Syndrome is an inductive theory that was constructed after expert observations were made on behaviors of abused women.
